Cables are grouped into pulls — sets of cables that share the same cable type (Power, Control, Signal) and traverse the same ordered sequence of raceway segments. Cables in the same pull can be pulled simultaneously by field crews.

Pull tension is estimated using the capstan equation for bends and an editable per-pull friction coefficient. Combined cable weight per foot is used for multi-cable pulls. Forward and reverse directions are compared when route segments support direction-aware calculation.

Manufacturer pulling-tension and sidewall-pressure limits must be entered before a pass/fail result is shown. A three-cable conduit pull can also be screened for the common 2.8–3.2 jam-ratio band. These are planning checks, not a substitute for manufacturer installation data.
